Like all Tom Petty fans, Adam Shoenfeld and Katie Cook were devastated two years ago this month when they heard the news that the famed singer and songwriter from Gainesville had died at age 66. Music festivals at Depot Park and Heartwood Soundstage, a symposium and more are taking place this week to honor Gainesville’s music legend. ![]()
